Sunday afternoon at his home at 103
Peacock Ave., Pomeroy.
Mr. Ohl!ngerwasbornDec. 7,1936
1n Pomeroy, a son of the late Troy
Ohlinger and Mrs. Rosa Day
Ohlinger who ·survives. He was a
coal miner and was t:mployed by the·
Southern Ohio Coal Co. He was
fonnerly employed by Mld·West
Steel In Pomeroy for several years
and he and his wife owned and
operated the Main St. Cafe In
Pomeroy for several years. He was
a veteran of the anned forces
having served with the U. S. Marine
Corps.l\fr. Ohlinger was a member
of the United Mine Workers of
America.
Surviving are his wife, Gall Slnlth
Ohlinger, a son, Jeffrey Wayne
Ohlinger, Pomeroy; a daughter.
Jennifer Lynn Shuler, Pomeroy; his
mother, Rosa Day Ohlinger, Pomeroy; two grandsons, Clayton Ohlin·
ger and Troy Alexander Shuler,
both of Pomeroy; an uncle, Conrad
Ohlinger, Pomeroy; his mother·ln·
law Anna Mae Ob!tz, RaCine;
son:in.law, Martin Shuler, and a
daughter·ln·law, Kimberly Seth,
Paneroy.

Islands.

has been Mrs. Mildred Shuster of
Ptmeroy who spent some 10 days
visiting relatives In Iowa that she
hadn't seen for quite some lime.
