ten teacher in the Middleport Schools. Kindergarten chihfren
are urged each year to save &lt;~II their tax stamps and eacb yeat
quite substantial amounts are realized with Which to buy valuable teaching aids and other needed equipment for the department .
Mrs . Reynolds reports that the children usually save enough
stamps to provide about $75 per year. With It many fine musical and instructional record aJbums have been purchased. Aux·
iliary chairs and tables. a rocking ch&amp;lr set, many fine books
and a quite cleverly built doll-sized house have been gained
from stamp redemptions over recent years.
Many church organizations religiously save tax stamps and
thereby provide a source of revenue to their own treasuries
and those of their churches.
When this· bill was pending Rep. George Meinhart said here
that most commercial institutions and organizations such as
the Retail Merchants Association, Ill• Restaurant Aasoclatlon,
and a host of others, opposed the bfll. Why it was opposed by
these people. who it would seem should be In favor of it, was

ten teacher in the Middleport Schools. Kindergarten chihfren
are urged each year to save &lt;~II their tax stamps and eacb yeat
quite substantial amounts are realized with Which to buy valuable teaching aids and other needed equipment for the department .
Mrs . Reynolds reports that the children usually save enough
stamps to provide about $75 per year. With It many fine musical and instructional record aJbums have been purchased. Aux·
iliary chairs and tables. a rocking ch&amp;lr set, many fine books
and a quite cleverly built doll-sized house have been gained
from stamp redemptions over recent years.
Many church organizations religiously save tax stamps and
thereby provide a source of revenue to their own treasuries
and those of their churches.
When this· bill was pending Rep. George Meinhart said here
that most commercial institutions and organizations such as
the Retail Merchants Association, Ill• Restaurant Aasoclatlon,
and a host of others, opposed the bfll. Why it was opposed by
these people. who it would seem should be In favor of it, was
