CROWNED- Kathy Werry, left, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Werry, and
Suzie Soulsby, daughter of .Mr. and Mrs. Jim Soulsby, were crowned winners in
the Pomeroy Fire Department's Labor Day Princess Contest. Kathy, age 9, was
winner in compefiticn of the younger candidates while Miss Soulsby was named
older division Princess. Both were featured in the firemen's Labor Day Parade.
The winners, ~elected on a penny·a·vote basis, were crowned during a Saturday
night dance at the Pomeroy tennis court-Sentinel Photo.
