            <text>Paula Maria Pierce, 70, Gallipolis, passed away at 2:55 P.M. Thursday, October 25, 2018, in the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born December 5, 1947 in Galloway, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Paul David and Ida Marie Settles Vawter Jr. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her two sons, George "Teddy" (Marcella) Pierce, of Gallipolis and Gary Lee (Stephanie) Pierce, of Bidwell, three grandchildren, Nancy (Chad) Sheets, Samantha (Mike Smith) Pierce and Savannah (Larry) Martin, twelve great-grandchildren, brother, Paul Vawter, of Columbus, Ohio, sisters, Debbie (Rick) Sloan, of Florida and Barbara (Bud) Yeldge, of Columbus, Ohio and a close friend,  Andrew Salyers, of Gallipolis, In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, George Pierce Sr. and a sister, Ann Vawter. There are no calling hours or funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services are by the Cremeens-King Funeral Home.</text>
