            <text>Charles Wayne Smith, 70, Gallipolis, formerly of Elkview, West Virginia, passed away at 11:40 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Arbors at Gallipolis after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born on April 29, 1947 and raised in Elkview, West Virginia he was the son of the late Lawrence Austin and Mary Frances Shaffer Smith. He was a union local painter and was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Smith, Eddie Smith and Ricky Smith. He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Paige) Smith and Angel (Joey) Dillard, brothers Timmy Smith and Mike Smith and sisters, Teresa Coutz and Kathy Pennington, grandchildren,CJ, Chrissy and Carter and great-grandchildren, Ky'lee, Chevy, Audrianna and Kyle. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in the Hafer Funeral Home, 50 North Pinch Road, Elkview, West Virginia with Greg Moles officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Local arrangements were by the Cremeens-King Funeral Home,</text>
