Born December 15, 1935 in MorganTownship, Ohio, he was the son of the late Cluster and Larlyn (George) Russell. A United States Army Veteran, he was a member of the United Ironworkers Union and Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union. Darrell is survived by his wife, Gloria Gail (Mann) Russell and daughter, Karen Thompson; grandsons, Darrell (Jeni) Holland and Derick Thompson; great-grandchildren Miah, Alexis and Adelynn Holland; brother, Randy (Sharon) Russell and sisters, Patty (Don) Evans and Lila Mills. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor David Greer officiating.
