Born June 28, 1939, in Pomeroy, the son of the late James and Nellie Borgan. He was a commercial truck driver and owned Big Valley Trucking. He was a graduate of Harrisonville High School. Garey is survived by children. Terry (Sally), Wayne (Brenda), Anna, Mary Beth and adopted son Jason; grandchildren Caitlin (Wesley), Michael, Joel (Courtney), Kyle, Alex (Jacalyn), Gina, and John Michael; great-grandchildren Elijah, Jackson, Ella, Sumner, Addelaide, and his brothers Carmine and Michael. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Michael, brothers James Borgan, Gene Burkett and a sister Rosella Birchfield. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Pastor Donnie Quisenberry officiating. Burial is in Wells Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 11-1 P.M. prior to services.
