            <text>Beulah Mae, “Boots” Lyons, Cox, Perry, 94 of Albany departed this world for Beulah Land, while in her sleep at the home of her daughter, Sharon Christian in the early morning hours of May 10, 2023&#13;
&#13;
Boots was born in Meigs county on Oct 14, 1928 to the late Edith (Ely) and Granville Lyons. She graduated from Columbia High School in 1946. Boots worked at many jobs, telephone operator, chicken hatchery, house keeper, mail carrier, election poll worker and cooked for several years at Columbia and Albany schools. Boots was a member of the Grange, the VFW Auxiliary, she volunteered for many organizations, was a long time member of Carpenter Baptist Church and Columbia Chapel. &#13;
&#13;
Boots is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Cox) Bert Christian, son Troy Perry, grandchildren Catrina (Ron) Baughman, Bret Christian, Travis (Jessica) Christian, Eric (Gracie) Perry, Kevin Perry. Great grandchildren, Ryan, McKayla, Kara, Clara, and Carson, and sister-in-law Polly (Walker) Lyons. &#13;
&#13;
Besides her parents, Boots was preceded in death by husbands, Bert Cox and Gordon Perry, and brother Billy Lyons. &#13;
&#13;
Both, Gordon and Boots made the decision several years ago to donate their bodies to OU medical research in order to help others live a longer and healthier life. &#13;
&#13;
A memorial service is planned for Gordon and Boots this fall. </text>
