            <text>Julia Mae (Meadows) DeWeese, 90, of New Haven, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center, Point Pleasant, WV.&#13;
&#13;
She was born August 23, 1932, at her home place on Hizer Creek (Putnam County) West Virginia, a daughter of the late Alfred Thomas and Mary Ellen (Simmons) Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James DeWeese; son, James DeWeese; daughter, Nancy DeWeese and several brothers and sisters.&#13;
&#13;
Julia had previously worked for the Solo Gas Station in New Haven, cared for the elderly and was a homemaker. She enjoyed bird watching and planting a variety of flowers.&#13;
&#13;
Survivors include her son, Jeff DeWeese and his wife, Vickie of Letart; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.&#13;
&#13;
There will be no public services at this time.</text>
