            <text>Steven Leroy Reeves, 48, of New Haven, WV, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at home, following an extended illness.&#13;
&#13;
He was born October 22, 1974, in Ravenna, OH, a son of the late James “Ronnie” and Martha (Clark) Reeves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Reeves.&#13;
&#13;
Better known to many as Steve, he had previously worked as a Nursing Assistant at Pleasant Valley Hospital until the time of his illness. He lived life to its fullest and enjoyed watching I.D., fishing, and playing with his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.&#13;
&#13;
Survivors include his beloved wife of 25 years, Melodie (Wood) Reeves; children, Summer Reeves, Brianna Reeves; stepchildren, Shawn Leach, Shane Leach, Crystal Shell; grandchildren, Isaiah, Sheldon, Braden, Landon, Aubree, Avah, Layla, Payton, Kasen, Kendrick and one great-grandchild, Brayleigh.&#13;
&#13;
