She was born December 12, 1930 on Mission Ridge in Maggie, WV. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Lillian Bugg Edwards. She is preceded in death by an infant brother, Larry, and a brother, Burdell Edwards. She is survived by a brother, Robert (Mary) Edwards of Letart, WV and a sister, Betty (Floyd) Snyder of Hartford, WV, three nieces: Charlotte (Dennis) Kimes of Hartford, WV, Kathy (Rusty) Clarke of Marietta, GA, and Rhonda (Warren) Edwards of West Columbia, WV. She is also survived by one nephew, whom was very special to her, Robert Ray (Beth) Edwards, Jr. of Long Bottom, OH. She attended Point Pleasant Junior High and worked at GC Murphy Company in Point Pleasant, WV for 40 years before retiring in 1988 as assistant manager. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and canning vegetables from her garden. She loved her cats dearly and enjoyed pampering them. She will be missed by many friends and beloved family. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Graham Baptist Church Cemetery, New Haven, WV, with Pastor Donnie Dye officiating.
