She was born February 11, 1928, in Pomeroy, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Alma (Ervin) Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cunningham; two sons Harry Cunningham and John Lewis Cunningham; her father and mother; sister, Nellie; and brothers, Alfred, Harry, George, Joseph, Roger "Bo" , Frank "Bob", and William. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Cunningham; daughters, Virginia (Larry) Lee, Francis (John) Foster, Sue (Robert) Smith, Peggy (Wendell) Ervin, Mary (David) Shuler; son, Michael (Karen) Cunningham; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special sister-in-law and best friend, Ruth Young. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 13,2023, at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, OH, at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Rocksprings Cemetery in Pomeroy, OH. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
