Detner was a 1967 Graduate of Wahama High School, served in the United States Marines, Detner served 34 years in law enforcement in many roles from Chief of Police with Mason Police Department, Deputy Sheriff with Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and a Lt with the Eleanor Police Department. He is survived by his brothers Tom (Martha) Roush, Don (Janice) Roush, his children Detner 'Pete' Roush IV, Brandy (Herb) Laudermilt, Brian Roush; Grandchildren Ryan Laudermilt, Brandon Laudermilt, Khalani Roush, Jackson Roush, Several nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.
