Dickie was born October 30, 1955 in Scottown, Ohio, son of the late William Haskell and Alice Ruth Allen Viars. He was a retired timber cutter and a graduate of Symmes Valley High School. Dickie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon Viars of Crown City.
