            <text>Robert S. Ball Jr, (better known to most as Bob or Bunky) passed away on Friday morning July 14, 2023 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Born May 10, 1941 in Gallia County, he was the son of the late Robert S. Ball Sr. and Annabelle Bradbury Ball Fellure.&#13;
&#13;
Bob was a retired employee of M&amp;G Polymers, formerly Goodyear, later Shell Corp. He was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1963 to 1965 with time served in Vietnam. A devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Gallipolis, he served in various capacities in the church including, Deacon, Trustee and member of the Session. He was currently serving on the board of directors of the Twin Oak Credit Union, a position he held for 37 years. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.&#13;

Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Shriver Ball of Gallipolis, 2 daughters, Sue Canter (Kenny Pitts) of Jackson and Debbie (Robbie) Collins of Seaman, OH along with 5 grandchildren, Nicole Bostic, Kevin (Anndi) Bostic, Levi Pitts, Hannah Collins (Connor White) and Karma (Donnie) Kirker and 4 great grandchildren, Riley Bostic, Josiah Green, Amelia Bostic and Norah Bostic. Also surviving is a special nephew, Brian (Kelly Jo) Shriver of Bidwell, a special niece, Sherry (Jason) Street of England and a special cousin, Jinx Farley of Gallipolis.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday July 20, 2023 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Canon W. Brent Sturm O.S.L. officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, where full military honors will be presented by the VFW #4464 Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Kevin Bostic, Robbie Collins, Kenny Pitts (with Levi Pitts). Donnie Kirker, Brian Shriver and John Green (with Josiah Green) Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. &#13;
