            <text>Howard Lester Writesel, 80, of Racine, passed away, at 11:21 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his residence. Born August 16, 1943 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Henry and Claira Writesel. He was the owner operator of the Racine Gun Shop and he operated the Howard Writesel and Sons Roofing Company.&#13;
&#13;
He is survived by his sons, Robert “Bobby” Writesel, of Pomeroy, and Howard “Jason” Writesel, of Coolville, a daughter, Nicole Writesel, of Racine. Grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Bobby Writesel, Gabe Writesel, Dakota Writesel, Tristan Diddle, Kamryn Diddle, Jaesi Writesel, Lexi Writesel, Braxton Burson, and Austin Kiser, also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue Writesel, seven brothers and five sisters.&#13;
&#13;
A celebration of Howard’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, of Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.</text>
