            <text>Martha Parsons Obituary&#13;
Martha Virginia Parsons, 83, of Racine, passed away, at 8:39 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in the Doctors Hospital, Columbus. Born November 28, 1940, in Oakland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Walter and Alice Marie Racey Bateman. She was a homemaker. She attended the Racine Pentecostal Assembly, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.&#13;
&#13;
She is survived by her children, James David (Debbie) Parsons, of Portland, Susie (Vernon) Miller, of Troy, Ohio, Nola Jean (Randy) Prater, of Rutland, Pamela Lynn (Larry) Wiley, of Coalmont, Tennessee, David Ray (Jody Lavender) Parsons, of Racine, and Alice Faye (Brian) Swearingen, of Lancaster, Ohio. Several grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Sisler, brothers, Edward Bateman, and John W. Bateman, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.&#13;
&#13;
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Parsons, and a brother, Charles Bateman.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Rev. Mike Codner will officiate and interment will follow in the Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday.</text>
