            <text>Sheryl Dowell, 76 of Bashan, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.   She was born on August 31, 1948 in Middleport, Ohio to the late Edward Rae and Anna Mae (Morris) Martin.   She worked as a Clerk at the License Bureau for many years and she attended the Hysell Run Holiness Church.&#13;
&#13;
 She is survived by her children, James W. (Karen) Gibbs, Brian (Alicia) Gibbs, Stacey (RJ Reynolds) Cleland; stepson, Roger Dowell; grandchildren, Brandy (Jeromy) Jackson, Tiffany Willis, Thomas (Marissa) Dowell, Bethany (Robert) Weddle, Patrick Gibbs, Ronnie (Kate) Barker, Haley (Marcos) Souto Da Silva, Kayla Dowell, Tristan Dowell, Megan (Donald Shaffer) Cleland, Aubrianna Gibbs, TJ (Amanda) Willis; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Joseph E. (Donna) Martin, Richard E. Martin, Thomas Jeffrey (Mary) Martin and several nieces and nephews.&#13;
&#13;
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Calvin Dowell; Ex Husband and friend, Lesley Gibbs; step daughter, Debbie Folmer; step grandson, Tyler Willis and best friend Arlene "Peg" Krautter; sisters in law, Gwen Martin and Luette Martin.&#13;
&#13;
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.   Burial will follow at the Rocksprings Cemetery.   Visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to the service (11-1:00pm).   </text>
