            <text>Shirley P. McDonald, 82, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Darst’s Private Care Home in Pomeroy, Ohio.&#13;
&#13;
Born on October 16, 1941 in Huntington, West Virginia, Shirley was the daughter of the late Averill and Frances Fillinger McCormick.  Shirley had worked as an LPN at Gallipolis Developmental Center.  &#13;
&#13;
Shirley is survived by her son, Bruce McDonald of Gallipolis and her caregiving friend, Mary Berry of Gallipolis.&#13;
&#13;
The Graveside Service for Shirley will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 3547 US Rt 60 East and Midland Trail, Barboursville, West Virginia with Pastor Harold Benson officiating. </text>
