At the Meigs County Cooperutive Clothing Purish on Main Street in Pomeroy, customers• can seurch . through she I ves of donated items. The Pomeroy Clothing Parish and God's Clothing Parish in Racine offers quality used clothing.atlow prices. Prices range from $2 to I 0 cents. A variety of items are donated such as glassware, household items, shoes, and mostly clothing. Last year both cl~llhing parishes made approximuiely $16, 200 in sales from 2,600 items donated by local residents. Dotlations and sales contribute to the cost of utilities and rent for the Meigs County Coope~ative ·buildings, including God's N.E.T. Betty Riebel, a 14-year volunteer has donated her time and effort since the Pomeroy Clothing Parish started in the late 80s, so low income families could afford the cost of clothing. "I've done a lot of good in the community to help people." Riebel said, "I don't like to stay at home when I can help others for a good cause."
